This research has been done to study the preparation and evaluation of phase and morphological properties of a nano biocomposites ceramic. In this regard, the synthesis of fluorapatite (FAp) as the first phase and forsterite considered as the second phase by the sol-gel method has been considered. Afterward, Nanocomposites with the base of fluorapatite with 15, 25, 35 wt% of forsterite have been synthesized by the sol-gel method. The synthesized nanoparticles and nanocomposites have been characterized with the help of different techniques, using field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. X-ray diffraction test results along with infrared spectroscopy indicated that fluorapatite, forsterite, and fluorapatite/forsterite nanocomposite without impurities were produced. FESEM result showed the particle sizes of produced nanocomposites with 15, 25, 35 wt% of forsterite were reported between 25-80 nm. The result of the MTT assay indicated the nontoxicity of samples for 7 days.
